STABE Lite is a product of STABE, Co., a U.S. company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use STABE Lite (the “Service”). The Service is designed to help founders launch businesses in the U.S. using AI-powered guidance, including chat-based features. You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service only from within the United States. By using STABE Lite, you accept this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly and information automatically collected about your use of the Service. This includes:
- Account and Contact Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and any other contact details you provide. You may browse certain public features anonymously at first, but continuing to use the Service requires account creation.
- Business and Content Data: We collect the business ideas, business plans, or other text input you submit through the Service (including chat transcripts). This is information you provide to us so we can deliver AI-powered guidance. We treat this user-generated content as personal information for the purposes of providing the Service.
- Payment Information: We use Stripe to process payments and subscriptions. When you make a purchase, Stripe securely collects your billing address, credit card or bank details, and other payment information. STABE Lite does not store your full payment details; Stripe does. We store payment confirmation and billing records necessary for transaction history.
- Usage and Analytics Data: We automatically collect information about how you use the Service. This includes technical data such as your IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and the dates and times you access the Service. We also collect logs of your activity within the Service (for example, pages visited, buttons clicked, and usage of features). We use Google Analytics and Mixpanel to aggregate this usage data for product analytics and improvement.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to provide and enhance our Service. Cookies help us recognize your browser or device and remember your preferences. We use session cookies for essential functions (such as keeping you logged in) and persistent cookies to remember your language or theme preferences. We also use first-party analytics cookies and may use third-party cookies from Google Analytics and Mixpanel to understand usage patterns. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies; if you disable cookies, some features of the Service may not work properly.
No Sensitive Data Collected: STABE Lite does not collect sensitive personal data. We do not ask for or record information like race, ethnicity, religion, health or medical data, biometric or genetic data, sexual orientation, or precise geolocation. We do not solicit information about criminal history or political beliefs. In other words, we collect only the personal information necessary to operate the Service and explicitly exclude those sensitive categories.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for business and service-related purposes, including:
- Providing and Operating the Service: We use your account and business information to deliver the Service to you (e.g. to generate AI responses based on your input, manage your account, and process your payments). We use your email address to send you service confirmations, updates, and important notices.
- Customer Support and Communication: We use your contact information to respond to your requests, questions, or issues. If you contact customer support, we may keep a record of the correspondence. We may also send you administrative messages (e.g. changes to features or policies).
- Improvements and Analytics: We analyze aggregated usage and performance data (via Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry error reports, etc.) to understand how the Service is used and how to improve it. This includes monitoring application errors and usage trends. These analytics help us diagnose problems and improve our AI models and user experience.
- Marketing and Promotions: With your consent, we may use your email or other contact data to send you newsletters, promotional offers, or marketing communications about STABE products. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by following the unsubscribe link in those emails. (You will still receive service-related or account-related messages.) We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
- Legal and Safety Purposes: We may use and disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights. For example, we may access and preserve your information to comply with legal obligations or enforce our Terms of Service. We may also use information to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or other wrongdoing.
In sum, we use your data internally to run and maintain the Service. We do not use it for purposes outside of our business operations, except as you authorize.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
As noted above, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies. These technologies collect information to provide and optimize the Service. We use:
- Essential Cookies: Necessary for basic Service functionality (like logging in and security).
- Preference Cookies: To remember your settings (language, theme, etc.).
- Analytics Cookies: We allow Google Analytics and Mixpanel to set cookies that help us understand how the Service is used. These cookies collect anonymous usage statistics (for example, pages visited and time spent).
- Advertising Cookies: We do not currently use cookies for targeted advertising or retargeting.
We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals at this time, as industry standards for Do Not Track are not established. You can control cookies through your browser settings (delete or block cookies), but disabling cookies may affect the Service’s functionality.
Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party service providers to support our operations. These may process your information on our behalf. Key examples include:
- Stripe (Payments): Stripe processes your payment information. We share only the minimal billing details and email necessary to complete transactions. Stripe is PCI-compliant and securely stores your payment data.
- Auth0 (Authentication): We use Auth0 to manage user accounts and logins. Auth0 handles password hashing and may offer social login options. When you log in, Auth0 processes your email/username and authentication credentials.
- Google Analytics & Mixpanel (Analytics): These services collect and process aggregated usage data (as described above) to help us analyze app usage and performance. We do not provide them with your personal identity (they see anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers, page views, event data).
- Sentry (Error Monitoring): Sentry collects error logs and diagnostics from the app. This may include technical data about errors or your actions leading up to an error. Sentry helps us fix bugs and improve reliability.
- Email & Support: We may use third-party platforms to send email or provide customer support. For example, if you contact support, your name and email may be stored in a support ticketing system.
These service providers are authorized to access your personal information only as needed to perform their functions. We do not allow them to use your data for their own purposes. We may also use other vendors (hosting, data storage, monitoring, security, etc.) in the future. We require all our partners and processors to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.
Data Retention
We retain the personal data we collect for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Policy and as permitted by law. This generally means we keep your data while you have an active account and for a reasonable time afterward (for example, to honor any legal or tax obligations). If you request deletion of your data, we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. Currently, you can request deletion or modification of your personal data by contacting our support team (see “Contact Us” below). In the future, we may provide self-service tools in your account settings to manage your data.
Even after data deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law (such as transaction records) or to the extent needed to protect our rights (for example, fraud records), but we will not use retained data for new profiling or marketing after your account is deleted.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
STABE Lite is a U.S.-based service. We comply with U.S. privacy laws. We do not sell your personal data. You have the following rights and choices regarding your information:
- Access and Correction: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct or update inaccurate information.
- Deletion: You can ask us to delete your personal data (subject to any legal exceptions, such as transactional data we must keep for tax or legal purposes).
- Opt-out of Marketing: If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link in the email or contact support. You cannot opt out of service-related emails (such as purchase receipts or important account notifications).
- Cookie Preferences: You may clear or block cookies via your browser settings. You can also adjust your personal cookie settings through our Service if we provide such options in the future.
- California Residents: If you reside in California, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), such as the right to request disclosure of categories of personal information collected, to opt out of data sales, and to request deletion of personal information. (Note: We do not sell personal data.) To exercise any of these rights, please see Contact Us below.
- Children’s Privacy: STABE Lite is not directed at children. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) applies to the collection of information from children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. We also require users to be at least 18 years old. If we learn that a user under 18 has provided us personal information, we will delete that information and terminate the account.
To make a request (access, deletion, corrections, etc.), please contact us via the information below. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Please note that if you request deletion or correction of your data, we may keep a confidential record of that request in accordance with law.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. We use industry-standard security (encryption, secure servers, firewalls) to safeguard data in transit and at rest. For example, all network traffic is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Auth0 and Stripe handle password and payment data using strong hashing and encryption. However, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data, and we cannot be responsible for unauthorized access beyond our control.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the Effective Date at the top. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or through the Service. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically for the latest information.
